A&E Construction LLC is a full-service general contractor serving Washington, DC and Maryland across government, commercial, and residential work. For twenty-nine years we have built, renovated, and maintained buildings under one principal and one standard of accountability. We carry our own field forces for general trades and supervise a vetted network of licensed specialty subcontractors, giving clients a single point of contact from estimate through warranty turnover.

Delivery Methods
A&E delivers projects under design-build, design-bid-build, construction-management, and negotiated-GMP structures. We match the delivery method to the project: design-build for speed and single-point accountability; CM for complex, phased, or owner-driven scopes; GMP where cost certainty matters most.
Our Process
Consultation & Estimate
A senior project manager walks the site, defines scope, and issues a transparent, line-item estimate on official A&E letterhead.
Design & Permitting
Where drawings are required we engage D3 Architecture, A&A Structures, and AEK Engineering, and Shelton Group CS for permit expediting.
Construction
Yodie Narain leads execution with Site Superintendent Michael Chambers. We self-perform general trades and supervise licensed subcontractors for MEP, roofing, structural, and abatement.
Close-Out
Final walk-through, punch list, warranty turnover, and a complete close-out package.
