Kitchen Remodeling Contractor — Washington, DC and Maryland
The kitchen is the most-used and highest-return room in a home, and the most complex to remodel: cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and structure all have to resolve into one coherent, functional space. A&E Construction LLC delivers complete kitchen renovations across Washington, DC and Maryland — from finish-level refreshes to full layout reconfigurations that open walls and rework systems.

Open-Concept & Structural Work
Opening a kitchen to adjacent living space often means removing a load-bearing wall. A&E engages A&A Structures to size beams and design support, then executes the structural work under permit — so the open layout you want is delivered safely and to code.
Our Process
Design & Estimate
A senior project manager assesses the space, discusses layout and selections, and issues a transparent estimate.
Drawings & Permits
For structural or systems changes we engage our design and engineering partners and manage permitting through Shelton Group CS.
Construction
Demolition, structural work, MEP rough-in, cabinetry, countertops, and finish — led by Yodie Narain and Site Superintendent Michael Chambers.
Walk-Through & Warranty
Punch list, appliance commissioning, and a written workmanship warranty.

The guys at A and E Construction are the best. They are responsive, creative and thorough. I hired them to build floating bookshelves, put up wallpaper in two rooms, create a niche for storage covered by a barn door and build furniture to contain filing cabinets. They exceeded my expectations. I had lots that I wanted done, and Eric and Chambers thought creatively about how to accomplish it.

I hired A and E Construction for a small bathroom renovation, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The communication from bidding to punch list was outstanding. Eric kept me updated every step of the way and helped work through material selection. The craftsmanship and quality of work from the crew was also excellent.

We replaced our windows with A and E Construction and it was a very smooth and easy process. Eric explained every step of the process and answered all of our questions. Nothing but great things to say about Eric and his team!
